Program
The music selected for the concert is based on a historical band theme that provides some insight into what bands have been playing in the 20th century before the explosion of new concert band literature beginning in 1950. This sample of music demonstrates what was going on in the band world at the time that both Lowell Mason and John Philip Sousa were alive.
